 What Tragic Times We Are Living In.

How can such awful things be happening in Ukraine?

Two weeks ago they were in a peaceful country going about their daily lives like the rest of us.  Now they are fleeing for their lives.

Who would have thought in the 21st century that we still had power crazy men running a country?  Putin has no care or thought for anyone else but himself. He must be completely heartless to bomb and kill all these people, destroying their lives, families, livelihoods, and land. Their lives will never be the same again.

We cannot imagine what they are going through. Living underground in fear every night.  Fleeing, not knowing where you are going to end up. Arriving in strange countries with nothing but the clothes you are wearing. So heartbreaking looking at all their faces.

We are so lucky here. I just feel so helpless.
